Minds-in-Motion, Inc. are private centers located in Carmel, Indiana, and Louisville, Kentucky. Each state-of-the-art facility provides a safe atmosphere for your child to participate in the Minds-in-Motion program, a groundbreaking course developed by Candace S. Meyer, Reading Specialist.

Minds-In-Motion Center for Vestibular Integration is a center specializing in S.I. [Sensory Integration].  Our staff is dedicated to providing high quality learning programs to individuals with special needs to achieve greater independence and enhance the quality of their lives.

Our staff of occupational therapists, certified occupational therapy assistants and certified teachers are specialists trained in the areas of learning and developmental disabilities; sensory processing; and in physical, emotional; and balance impairments.  The expert knowledge and skill of our staff, is what sets Minds-In-Motion Vestibular Center apart from other centers. It is not uncommon that when families choose the Minds-In-Motion Center as their Sensory Integration provider it is because of our reputation and expertise.

The Minds-in-Motion program draws upon 20 years of classroom experience with young children and six years of intensive field research into the correlation between developmental or learning difficulties and vestibular integration. Participants in Minds-in-Motion are screened by a licensed Occupational Therapist before beginning a proprietary combination of activities and protocols which have proven effective in treating children with a wide range of learning difficulties.

Specialized movement activates vestibular connections in the brain, allowing a greater capacity for learning. We have found the way to give all children an EDGE...the ability to function at a higher rate!

Through motor, auditory, visual and sensory stimulation, a child's brain integrates vital information. The processing speed at which this is done determines a child's ability to withstand challenges in each of these areas. Effective brain integration deals with every aspect of a child's life, both now and in years to come. The intensity and focus of the Minds-in-Motion program promotes greater integration of the child’s brain through a wide range of specifically tailored physical activities, thus unlocking a child to reach his/her full potential in each of the following areas: social, academic, athletic, emotional, physical and physiological.
